Jan is in Marquis' "Who's Who in American Art" and "Who's Who in American Women". Her art has been exhibited in Art Galleries and Art Expos, nationally and internationally: United States, Europe, Canada and Japan. Jan's art has been shown in art magazines, catalogues, and in the prestigious book, "25 Years PGM Art World" (published - Germany). Many of her paintings have been published/reproduced by Fine Art Publishing Companies.
"Law's creative passion has been there since childhood...after a head count at the end of an outdoor school recess, one child was missing. It was Law, of course, and she was found inside, painting at her easel. She was five years old." At age 12, she began art classes at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA. Later, she continued her art studies, visual art and art history, at Pine Manor College (A.A., B.A.), Chestnut Hill, MA., Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA. and Paris American Academy (Certificate), Paris, France.
Realism, expressionism and impressionism are her painting styles, often combining two or three in one painting. "She is one of the few artists I have seen who is accomplished in so many styles...she is not limited, and she is an impressionist and a realist. Very few people can do that."
From Me to You - I hope to bring feelings of serenity, beauty and enjoyment with my art - My Best, Jan
