Description
This is a watercolor painting of the beautiful movie star Marilyn Monroe. I drew her portrait utilizing numerous images. I emphasized her famous smile with brilliant red lips, and painted her golden blonde hair with broad flowing strokes. Her seductive half closed eyelids with long black lashes is oh so Marilyn. I surrounded her with many thin flowing layers of blue and a touch of light brown. The darker background colors are a nice contrast to her light yellow curls. Two straight corner blue lines ,lower left, help to frame her notorious face. She died tragically at age 36 but story lives on ....
