Description
This is an elegant floral still life painting, in the realism style. The beautiful hydrangea flower is surrounded by flowing green ivy leaves at the base of the plant. The vintage planter is decorated with acorns and acorn leaves. The petals are thin layers of purple paint to add luminosity to the flowers. The background is a thin flowing wash of watercolors in beige, tea stain, and moss green. This is the companion piece to "Blue Hydrangea Topiary II". The composition will add much interest and color to any home decor.
